Frank Forsberg and Belle McLean (McClean) were married 22 February 1886, in Armourdale, Wyandotte County, Kansas. By 1895 they were in Hood River, Wasco County, Oregon, where they staked out their homestead. Frank and Belle had 12 children; two died young. In the picture above, taken about 1913, are Frank and Belle, with eight of their 10 surviving children. In back from left: Frank, Alfred, Alfreida, Gus (my grandfather), Lillie, Anna and Belle. In front, from left: Charlie, Oscar and Edith. Frank died of pneumonia in December 1915. He was just 46. Belle died in 1964, at age 95.
