Margaret Ellen Harris Zuck McLean

Margaret Ellen Harris was born about1831, probably in Saline County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Moses and Betsy (Teeter) Harris. In 1848 she married Jonathan Zuck in Carroll County, Missouri. Jonathan died about December 1861, leaving Ellen with four young children. In 1864, Margaret Ellen Zuck married Laughlean McLean, in Saline County, Missouri. Laughlean had been recently widowed and had two young children of his own. In addition to the six children from their previous marriages, Ellen and Laughlean had at least five more - four of whom lived to adulthood. Ellen died 9 October 1917, in Kansas City, Kansas.
